EDNS Resolver Probe
Which DNS resolver actually answered for you — and, when it discloses it, which network you are really on.
How it reads. Each query resolves a single-use hostname, so the
authoritative server can name the resolver that asked.
dns is that
resolver — anycast makes its country unreliable on its own. edns is the
EDNS Client Subnet the resolver forwarded: that one names your real network. A Swiss
resolver disclosing a French subnet is a leak; a Swiss resolver with no ECS is simply
unknown, and this probe says so rather than guessing.
